Product advantages:

• Classic embalming device for years of use.
• Especially for mouth closures, but also for dressing skull and other fractures.
• The needle injector is a good alternative to ligature, the closing of the mouth of a deceased person.
• Closing the mouth with the needle injector is the most commonly used procedure in the USA. It is very quick and easy.

Application:

• It is used above the upper and below the lower lip with one injection needle each. You need 2 injection needles per procedure. If necessary, use 2 x 2 injection needles for transfers.
• An injection needle must be anchored ("shot" with the needle injector) into the tissue of the upper and lower jaw above and below the incisors (at the site of the pronounced cartilage). The now protruding steel threads (total length approx. 20 cm) are pulled together to the desired width of the mouth closure and twisted together.
• The wires can then be snipped off with pliers or simply pushed under the lips.
• Working with the needle injector requires some practice for anchoring (e.g. easy to learn on a plywood board).
• The device is easy to use with a large and strong hand. A handle can be fitted for smaller hands.

Note:

• Never clean the needle injector in an instrument bath!
• We recommend using Hi-Tech oil pen for care and disinfectant wipes such as oro® B60 disinfectant wipes for disinfection.
