LD Systems Road Buddy 10 Battery Speaker
The LD Systems Roadbuddy 10 is the ideal solution for voice and music transmission on the go. This 2-way speaker, featuring a 10" custom woofer and a 1" compression driver, offers up to 8 hours of operation with its rechargeable battery and is powered by a Class D amplifier with a highly efficient switching power supply and 480 watts peak power.
The Road Buddy relies entirely on wireless transmission: it features a UHF radio receiver operating in the license-free 863-865 MHz range and can be expanded with an additional system. The integrated Bluetooth player with backlit multifunction display, equalizer, USB port, and SD card slot supports .mp3, .WMA, and .WAV formats. A 10 mW handheld microphone and the player's IR remote control are included.
For wired devices, the Road Buddy features two channels with combo jacks and individual volume controls, switchable between microphone and line level, a stereo input via RCA (phono) jacks (mono summed), and a 3.5 mm aux input. Controls for treble, bass, echo, and a master volume complete the control panel.
The LD Systems Road Buddy is easily transportable thanks to integrated wheels and a retractable handle. A practical storage compartment on the top holds up to two handheld microphones. The lightweight plastic housing features a 35 mm tripod mount.
