We carry over 10,000 products specifically for funeral directors. Our product range covers all relevant areas for funeral homes: care & embalming, hygiene, urns & coffins, cemetery & funeral service, and pet burial.

Registration & Login
Who can order from Lavabis?
Sales are made exclusively to businesses, tradespeople, freelancers, and public institutions. Sales to consumers as defined in § 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB) are excluded.
How do I register as a new customer?
New customers can register using our online form ( click here to register ). Please select the appropriate customer group ("Funeral Director" or "Other Business Customer") to gain targeted access to the offers and conditions relevant to you in our shop.
Is it possible to place an order as a guest or without a customer account?
No, placing an order without a customer account is not possible. A customer account is required to verify your business status and eligibility to purchase, and to grant you access to our industry-specific offers, prices, and services. It also enables efficient processing of your orders and invoices.

Why aren't all the prices displayed?
Some prices are only visible to specific customer groups and will therefore only be displayed after your access has been activated. Our offer is specifically aimed at entrepreneurs, tradespeople, freelancers, and public institutions. Registration allows us to assign your customer group and show you the appropriate prices.
Is there a minimum order value?
No, we don't have a minimum order value. You can order flexibly and according to your needs.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
For most products, there is no minimum order quantity. However, for some items, such as products with fixed packaging units, a minimum order quantity is required.

What payment options do you offer?
The following payment options are available in our online shop:

Please note that the availability of certain payment methods may vary depending on the country, customer group and technical approval.
Will I receive an invoice with VAT shown separately?
Yes, business customers based in Germany generally receive an invoice with German VAT shown separately.
For customers based in other EU countries:
If a valid VAT identification number was provided during registration, the delivery will be VAT-free as part of an intra-Community acquisition. If no valid VAT identification number is provided, German VAT will be charged.
For customers from non-EU countries (third countries), delivery is generally VAT-free as an export delivery, provided that the conditions according to § 6 UStG are met.
When and how will I receive my invoice?
You will usually receive your invoice immediately after the goods have been shipped. The invoice will be automatically sent to you by email to the address you provided during the ordering process.
Why does my customer account show "Payment pending" even though I have already paid the invoice?
For technical reasons, the payment status in your customer account is currently not automatically updated to reflect incoming payments. This means that the status "Payment pending" will still be displayed even if your invoice has already been paid.
We are working hard to improve this feature as quickly as possible.

Shipping & Delivery
How quickly will the delivery take place?
We usually ship in-stock items within 2-3 working days.
For items shipped by freight carrier, bulky goods, or products delivered directly from the manufacturer, the delivery time may vary.
The applicable delivery time is indicated directly with the respective product in the online shop.
Which shipping provider will be used?
We deliver your order reliably with DHL.
Do you also deliver to third parties, parcel lockers or islands?
Yes, we are happy to deliver to third parties, parcel lockers, and islands.
I haven't received my goods – what should I do?
Please first check the status of your shipment using the tracking number ( click here to go to DHL's shipment tracking ).
If your delivery is delayed or lost, please contact our customer service. We will help you as quickly as possible to resolve the issue.

Can I return items?
No. Business customers do not have a statutory right of withdrawal.
How do I proceed with a complaint?
Should you have any reason to complain, please contact our customer service immediately with a detailed description of the problem and, if relevant, photos of the product. We will review the matter as quickly as possible and find a solution together.
