Dry Guard, Index 21, 473 ml bottle (16 US fl oz)

Bleaching, drying and firming body cavity fluid.

Product benefits:

• Dry Guard's special formulation results in excellent tissue penetration and preservation.
• The affected tissue becomes firm and dry. This bleaching agent guarantees the embalmer that the tissues of the cavities are well preserved.
• The possibility of not reaching areas within the cavities and thus allowing subsequent decomposition is reduced by the penetrating ability of the fluid.
• Dry Guard combines very high tissue penetration with its excellent ability to reduce moisture in the tissue.
• As a surface pack, Dry Guard helps to firm and preserve peeling skin and spongy tissue.
• As an external pack or injected under the skin, as a bleaching agent it helps to lighten dark areas of skin and reduce puffiness.
• Especially recommended before transfers.

Instructions for use:

• Normal cases: for regular cavity work on a normal body, use one or two bottles (473 or 946 ml) of Dry Guard.
• For larger bodies or those with extensive decay, two to three bottles (946 to 1,419 ml) may be required according to your professional judgment.
• For reaspiration, the use of Dry Guard is recommended as an additional body cavity fluid to any cavity fluid.
• Special use cases:
  
  • As a surface pack for skin slip, pressure ulcers and other weeping wound problems.
  • Please place a cotton ball soaked with Dry Guard on the affected area. Cover the pack with plastic wrap to control the development of vapors and direct the action of the liquid to the problem area.
  • For use as a bleaching agent or to reduce swollen areas, you can apply a surface pack as described above.
  • For deeper discoloration or more severe swelling, an injection of Dry Guard into the affected area is recommended as needed.
