Wir wählen speziell gefertigten Edelstahl, weil er die beste Leitfähigkeit vor Kälte bietet. Der Wärmeleitfähigkeitskoeffizient w(m.k) von Edelstahl liegt zwischen 16-27. Bei Kunststoff liegt dieser beispielsweise bei 0,2. Edelstahl ist daher mindestens 80-mal leitfähiger als Kunststoff. Sie werden verstehen, dass die Zeit für die Herstellung und Kalthaltung der Kühlung dadurch erheblich kürzer ist. Ein weiterer Vorteil ist, dass auch der Stromverbrauch deutlich geringer ist. Edelstahl ist stark und hält einiges aus. Es schadet nicht oder kaum, wenn z.B. ein Hoch-Tief-Bett darauf sinkt. Durch die hervorragende Reinigung der Keramikstrahlbehandlung wird diese nicht porös. Auch "Finger" sind weniger sichtbar.
