Note: After filling, only light the wick when the oil has risen to the tip of the wick. Do not refill while the wick is still burning, glowing or the lamp is hot. The product must be kept away from children and animals. Even a small sip can be life-threatening. We recommend frost-proof storage in winter. If garden torches and lamps are still filled but not used in winter, we recommend disposing of them and refilling them to prevent soot from forming.

The lamp oil dissolves all residues in the lamp or on the wick and burns them off. Therefore, if you have previously used other lamp oil, we recommend that you clean the lamp thoroughly and use a new wick before filling it with our lamp oil. It is possible that deposits from previous, impure lamp oils will now be dissolved, giving the impression that the odor is coming from our lamp oil.
