The hydraulic transport trolley consists of a stable, torsion-free steel construction with a lifting device using hydraulic cylinders. The double hydraulic unit allows for smooth, stepless height adjustment, and the stepless shock and counter-shock position can be operated via foot pedal. The double hydraulic unit allows the support to be raised or lowered by a maximum of 45° at both the head and foot ends. A slanted cradle can significantly help to reduce swelling and discoloration of the head and neck. The deceased's head should be kept elevated for an extended period to allow fluids to drain into the deeper tissues. After several hours of lying with the head elevated, any remaining skin discoloration can be more easily smoothed out aesthetically by massaging the skin. The chassis has four swivel casters, Ø 200 mm, two of which are directional and two of which are lockable. They feature non-marking rubber treads and special, permanently lubricated, and maintenance-free ball bearings.
